On an overnight stop in early September, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the value for money we found at this hotel. Despite the slightly tired rooms, the price was more than fair. The location was ideal, as it was within a 5-minute walk to the Main Street and a short 10-minute walk to a plethora of restaurants and shops. We even discovered that Harrington's, the town's most popular restaurant, was just a stone's throw away. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we appreciated the basic amenities provided, including rooms with air conditioning for our comfort. Additionally, having breakfast included in the rate was a nice touch, allowing us to start our day off right without any extra cost.

All was fine and there's nothing to complain about.

Fairly clean hotel in a beautiful building near to restaurants and town center, the Stowe Inn via email and a tavern, double parlor and a restaurant. A nice size and brand-new room with the 2 free glasses of wine and the bathroom, for example for a pleasant stay for one night with my boyfriend. The most important - convenient and optimal location close to everything. Again, walking distance to a history museum.

One of the things that stood out to us during our stay at this hotel was its convenient location near the downtown shops in the Stowe area. It was great to be able to easily walk to restaurants and shops without having to drive around. Additionally, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a spa tub that added a touch of luxury to our experience. Another aspect we really appreciated was the attention to detail, as the hotel made sure to provide basic amenities and a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. it was a great value for money, with affordable prices that didn't compromise on quality.

Everything was satisfactory and met our expectations for a hotel of this price point.

The chef was nice and made me a breakfast sandwich to go in the morning for no charge.

The night before I paid for mac/cheese with proscuitto. Came with 2 small pieces of proscuitto and overcooked pasta. The bed had a huge ripe in it. My dinner - I ordered a diet coke and they didn't have any regular glasses for me to take it up to my room, so it got served in a plastic cartoon kids cup. I couldn't believe it.

The common area downstairs is convenient and lively, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and everything one needs. The rooms are roomy, some even have a fireplace, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Guests can find Cheerios, jelly, and peanut butter to eat for breakfast.

Some areas of the hotel, such as under the bed and by the radiator, could benefit from better cleaning.

The staff was never around when you needed them, I.E. to check in, no service for breakfast, wait staff overwhelmed, etc.

First of all I booked a deluxe kng room,when I arrived they gave me a room with two beds,i informed them that they gave me the wrong room,they changed the room.the a/c wasnt working,theygot that going,then the tv wouldnt work,the remote pad for the tv was so old all the numbers were erased off from use. They certainly need a bit of updates to this hotel,would not stay or reccomend this hotel,over priced for what you get.

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location is excellent, with McCarthy's Restaurant just up the street, making it convenient for dining options. The staff is friendly and provides good service. The rooms are comfortable and come with basic amenities, including carpeted floors, air conditioning, and spa tubs. The added bonus of breakfast included in the rate is a nice touch.

All in all, there were no major issues or concerns with this hotel.

Firstly, Booking online does not distinguish between the comfortable inn or the older style motel accomadation. Was told the rooms had wifi, however, it was only accessible in the main house or the carpark outside. My biggest gripe was the fact that there was no hot water for showering in either of the 2 rooms that we booked. We were forced to have cold showers, and there was no one on site to remedy the situation. In fact, there was no one on site to help with this until 9am. Would not recommend Stowe Inn
